The Vier DIN euro deadlock is a 60mm backset single throw deadlock with a deadbolt operated by a euro profile cylinder, fitted with a two-piece square forend. It is used on store rooms, plant rooms and other doors in homes and commercial buildings that need key locking without a latch, with lever handles on a rose or backplate fitted to suit.
The square forend suits a square-cut mortice in the door edge. The 60mm backset sets the distance from the door edge to the centre of the follower. The lock case is mortice fitted into the door edge.
