The aluminium letter plate inner tidy is a 260 x 70mm flap-style cover fitted to the inside of a front door over the letterbox opening. It hides the rough cut edges of the slot, helps reduce draughts, and gives the inside face of the door a neat finish to match the letter plate fitted outside.
The tidy screws to the inside face of the door, over the opening cut for the letter plate. Check that the tidy is large enough to cover the full opening before fitting, and fit it so the letters can still pass through freely.
