This bar is a spare part for the locking espagnolette bolt. The bar is the 1500mm rod that runs from the central mechanism towards the top or bottom of the door. It is used by joiners, locksmiths and homeowners repairing or extending an existing espagnolette bolt on French doors, double doors and tall windows.
The locking espagnolette bolt locks a tall door or window top and bottom from one central handle, for doors up to 2400mm high. As a spare part, it replaces a damaged or missing part without buying a complete bolt. Spare bars, guides and plates are shared between the allen key and the euro cylinder versions.
