The Contemporary turn and release for mortice knobs is a bathroom privacy fitting designed to sit alongside mortice knob furniture. It provides a thumb turn on the inside of the door and an emergency release on the outside, for bathroom, en-suite and WC doors.
Fit with a bathroom lock so the turn throws the bolt from inside, while the release allows the door to be opened from outside in an emergency. Its contemporary styling is intended to match the knob ranges it accompanies.
