Frelan Hardware Plain Door Spindle 120 x 8mm

The plain door spindle measures 120 x 8mm and connects the handles on each side of a door through the follower of the latch or lock. It is a solid 8mm square bar, the square size used by most UK lever handles and mortice knobs, and is used when fitting new furniture or replacing a spindle that is worn, bent or too short.

Choose the length to suit the door thickness and the depth of the handles, so the spindle passes fully through the lock and into both handles. A plain spindle is held by the grub screws in each handle, so the handles should be tightened once the door has been checked for a smooth action.
